Terms of Use — 6Feets

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the 6Feets mobile app, published by Jack Kinosky, a sole proprietor (in French, an entrepreneur individuel — France's micro-enterprise status) registered in France (see the legal notice). They form the contract between you and the publisher.

2. Accepting these terms

Installing and using 6Feets means you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, don't use the app.

3. Age and parental consent

6Feets is aimed at teenagers who are still growing, and at the parents who support them.

If you are under 15, one of your parents — or whoever holds parental authority — must consent along with you before you use the app and before any purchase.

No purchase should be made without the consent of whoever holds the payment method. Apple's "Ask to Buy" and Family Sharing settings let parents manage this.

4. What 6Feets is — and what it isn't

6Feets is a habit-tracking app: sleep, food, physical activity, and height measurements. Based on what you enter, it displays an estimated adult height range and lifestyle advice.

Here's what you should understand before using the app:

5. Trial, subscription, and payment

5.1 The trial

The app offers a free 5-day trial, with no account and no payment method required. It starts the first time you launch the trial and doesn't reset: reinstalling the app doesn't open a new trial.

5.2 The subscription

Beyond the trial, full access is paid, through a subscription.

5.3 Canceling

You can cancel anytime, in three taps, from Settings → Account → Manage My Subscription, which opens directly to the Subscriptions page of your Apple account. This is the only place where a subscription bought inside an app can actually be canceled — the publisher has no control over it.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for. You keep access until then.

5.4 Refunds and the right of withdrawal

Refund requests are made with Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com), who handles them under its own terms. The publisher has no power to refund a purchase processed by Apple.

Because digital content is made available immediately after purchase, your 14-day right of withdrawal ends as soon as performance begins — which you agree to by making the purchase.

5.5 Restoring a purchase

Settings → Account → Restore Purchases brings back a subscription already paid for on the same Apple account, after a new phone or a reinstall. Switching devices never costs you a second payment.

6. Your account

Sign-in works only through Sign in with Apple. There's no password and no email address to enter.

An account is optional: the trial and all daily tracking work without one. It's used to find your tracking data again if you switch phones or reinstall the app.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete My Account. Deletion is permanent and takes the associated data with it (see the privacy policy).

7. What we ask you not to do

No space for users to publish content to each other exists at this time: the community tab only collects interest in a future feature. If such a space opens, publishing and moderation rules will be added here before it launches.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its code, its text, its illustrations, its name, and its visual identity belong to the publisher or are licensed to it. Buying a subscription gives you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the app — not a right over its content.

The data you enter remains yours. You can retrieve it at any time from Settings → Privacy and Data → Download My Data.

9. Availability and liability

The publisher does its best to keep the app running, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability: an iOS update, a provider outage, or a network failure can make it temporarily unavailable.

The app works mostly offline; syncing, however, requires a connection.

The publisher's liability cannot be engaged for damage resulting from use that violates these terms, from information knowingly entered incorrectly in the questionnaire, or from a health decision made on the sole basis of the app. Nothing in this paragraph limits the publisher's liability in cases where the law forbids it, in particular in the event of gross negligence or bodily injury.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the app whenever you want, uninstall it, and delete your account.

The publisher may suspend a user's access in the event of a clear breach of § 7, after notifying the user unless there's an emergency.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms can change. The date at the top shows the version in force. A material change will be flagged inside the app. Continuing to use 6Feets after a change means you accept the new version; if you don't agree with it, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law.

If a problem comes up, write first to to be completed — contact email: a complaint is almost always resolved there.

Failing an agreement, and in accordance with Articles L. 611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), you can turn to a consumer mediator free of charge: to be completed — consumer mediator

The European Union's online dispute resolution platform is deliberately not mentioned here: it stopped operating on July 20, 2025, and pointing to it would send people to a closed door.

Failing an amicable resolution, French courts have jurisdiction under the conditions set by law.
